Biography

 Dr. Solomon’s career of over forty-five years showcases excellence in practice and several breakthrough diagnoses in oral and maxillofacial pathology. Dr. Solomon has contributed to nearly forty peer review publications and received several honors and acknowledgements in his field, including the Best Dentists in America award for 2004-2005. He is a member of the ADA, Second District Dental Society of NYS, New York Institute of Clinical Oral Pathology, and the International Association of Oral Pathologists. Dr. Solomon received his DDS from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1969, moving on to several internships before a residency in Anatomic Pathology at Kings County Hospital Center/ SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He has also served as Clinical Professor of Pathology and Clinical Assistant Professor at both SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and SUNY Downstate College of Nursing, as well as an Instructor at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Solomon continues to serve as a consultant to various New York City Medical Centers, including Maimonides, Brooklyn Hospital, Woodhull Hospital, Brookdale Hospital, and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Centers.
