Biography

Kristine Willis, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Genetics and Developmental Biology, where she oversees grants in the area of developmental genetics. She also manages postdoctoral fellowships in genetics and developmental biology and R25 grants for Training Modules to Enhance Data Reproducibility. Before coming to NIGMS, Willis was an assistant research professor at Georgetown University. She earned both a B.S. and Ph.D. in biology from the University of Southern Mississippi and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Toronto.
