Biography

Eleanor Watson graduated with BSc Hons in Medical Microbiology from University of Edinburgh and gained a PhD from the University of Nottingham, School of Pharmacy where she investigated the immunomodulatory potential of bacterial signalling molecules. She began working at Moredun in 2005 on a project through the University of Glasgow, taking a proteomic approach to discover novel infection determinants of the pig pathogen Lawsonia intracellularis. Since 2008 she has been investigating the interaction between Campylobacter species and their hosts.
