MIHALACHE DUMITRU was born in 1948, June 24, Valcelele, Arges County, Romania. His education includes Faculty of Physics, Theoretical Physics, University of Bucharest (1971); Faculty of Mathematics, University of Bucharest (1977). He was awarded with Scientific Title Ph.D. in Physics (1986), Thesis: "Interaction of coherent radiation with some atomic systems", Supervisor: Prof. M. Ivascu.
