Donna Krasnewich, M.D., Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Genetics and Developmental Biology, where she manages research grants dealing with the genetic basis of human biology. Prior to joining NIGMS, she held several intramural positions, including deputy clinical director at the National Human Genome Research Institute. Krasnewich earned a B.S. in microbiology and cell biology from the University of Michigan and an M.D. and Ph.D. in pharmacology from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She is board-certified in pediatrics and clinical biochemical genetics.
