Research Intrest

Investigation of emerging areas of energy and environment, including catalysis, environmental reaction engineering; sustainable chemistry and engineering, synthesis of nanoscale materials for energy and environmental applications; sonochemistry, cavitation engineering, and advanced oxidation processes for water treatment and air pollution control; chemistry and kinetics of NOx, SO2 and Hg removal; cost estimation of advanced water and wastewater treatment processes; biofuels and synthesis and biomass conversion to chemicals and fuels; and fuels desulfurization and natural gas upgrading.
