Vicki C. Ewing, M.A., is a licensed marriage and family therapist, focusing primarily on providing education and training of competent, ethical, and well-grounded marriage and family therapists. As the M.A. program administrator and director of the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy program in Azusa, she strives to improve the program as the field of marriage and family therapy continues to evolve—she attends local, state, and national marriage and family therapy meetings to keep up with current trends and emerging research; she is involved with numerous clinical directors and educators from similar programs in Southern California; and she consults with the state licensing board regarding educational requirements and reporting strategies. Ewing is an AAMFT-approved supervisor and has a private practice in Sierra Madre, where she is a certified EMDR clinician who specializes in working with trauma patients through several theoretical models. She is also a certified mediator and works with couples who are approaching divorce to create parenting plans for their children.
