Tercílio Calsa Junior currently working as Associate Professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Biological Sciences Center, Department of Genetics, and coordinator of the Genomics and Proteomics Laboratory plants.He is an Agronomist by the School of Agriculture Luiz de Queiroz, the University of São Paulo, Master in Physiology and Biochemistry of Plants by ESALQ-USP and Doctor of Science - Biology in Agriculture and Environment at Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture, University of São Paulo. He has experience in Genetics, Biochemistry and Molecular Plant Physiology, with emphasis on Plant Molecular Biology, mainly in the following topics: Genomics, gene expression, proteomics, bioinformatics, Bioenergy, SAGE, chloroplasts, Saccharum, Vigna, Jatropha and Lemnoidae
