Biography

Dr. Ron Randel, a professor stationed at Overton, is regents fellow of physiology of reproduction and serves on the graduate faculty. He received his bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and his doctorate from Purdue University. He conducts research on reproductive efficiency, endocrine control of reproduction and the nutrition-reproduction interaction in cattle through his appointment with Texas A&M AgriLife Research. Professional memberships include the American Society of Animal Science, Alpha Zeta, Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Xi. He serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Animal Science and on several committees within the American Society of Animal Science.
