He has done his phd in 2001: defense of the dissertation thesis "Development and growth of bones splanchnokrania cattle in connection with molar eruption" and in   2004: defense of habilitation thesis "Skeleton metapod of cattle", Veterinary and Pharmaceutical University of Brno (Associate Professor of Normal and Pathological Morphology)  

Research Intrest

comparative anatomy, osteology, skeleton and bone development and growth, archeo-osteology, identification of animal skeletal remains from archaeological research
