Biography

Osvaldo Pompílio de Melo Neto has a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Brasil, a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Brasil and a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Brasil. He is currently a researcher at the Aggeu Magalhães Research Center, a unit of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation in Recife, Pernambuco.

Biochemistry, with emphasis in Molecular Biology, and Protozoology of Parasites, acting mainly in the following subjects: Regulation of the gene expression in Trypanosomatids
