Dr. Lowe received his MD and graduated cum laude from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He served as administrative chief resident during the final year of his general surgery residency at the Emory Department of Surgery. He joined the Emory faculty after completing a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Lowe received several awards during his training years, including the Young Investigator Award of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons in 2011 and 2012. His clinical practice and research interests focus on cutaneous malignancies, particularly melanoma and Merkel cell carcinoma.
