Biography

Professor Grossner is a full-time employee at General Electric and teaches ECHE 398: Process Analysis and Design here at Case. Dr. Grossner is a Senior Engineer in the Environmental Technology laboratory at the General Electric Global Research Center. Since 2003 he has worked on pollution prevention and energy efficiency within GE. Past projects include solvent substitution, thermal pinch analysis for process integration, waste heat recovery, and energy efficiency audits, and have taken place across more than 70 GE and partner sites covering diverse industries such as plastics, transportation, power generation, lighting, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and mining. In addition, Dr. Grossner is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Ohio.
