Biography

Max Veltman joined the School of Nursing in 2007. Max currently teaches much of the pediatric content of the nursing program’s undergraduate curriculum. He teaches both didactic and clinical content.

Research Intrest

His research focuses on the health issues of children involved in the child welfare system. This includes victims of physical and sexual abuse and children who are involved with the foster care system. This often involves collaboration with many of the community-based organizations involved in the Treasure Valley such as Idaho Health & Welfare, the Nampa Family Justice Center and St Luke’s CARES program.
