Biography

Dr Mary Kelly is a lecturer in Nursing. Her early nursing experiences were in Ireland where she qualified as a Registered General Nurse (St Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park) and a Registered Midwife (The Rotunda Hospital). She then worked as a medical-surgical nurse followed by several years of specialization in surgical intensive care nursing and registration as a Critical Care Nurse with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She was a Nurse Tutor at Connolly Hospital from 1998-2002 and took up my post as a lecturer in the School of Nursing DCU in August 2002.
