Biography

Lucy Zhao joined the School of Nursing in 2010.  Prior to joining the School of Nursing, she worked as an RN in the acute care hospitals in Texas.  Her clinical expertise is nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients and community health nursing.  Zhao is interested in nursing education and health promotion.   Currently, she teaches community and population health nursing.   She incorporates her clinical expertise and evidenced-based practice into clinical learning experiences for undergraduate nursing students.

Research Intrest

Her research interests include aging, gerontology and health promotion.
