Biography

Dr. Nolan is an award-winning researcher for her work in the area of Escherichia coli-caused diseases of animals and people. She has given many invited presentations around the world, authored numerous refereed journal articles and book chapters, and garnered millions of dollars in research funds. She has served as an associate editor of the Diseases of Poultry and on the advisory and editorial boards of Avian Diseases. She is also an award-winning teacher and academic advisor, having had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students and mentoring many post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate researchers and visiting scientists over the course of her career.
