His clinical work, research, and teaching focus on furthering the understanding of the relationship between brain functioning, emotions, and behavior toward effective treatment interventions and outcome. Dr. Evered combines a theoretical and research-based approach to his clinical work in order to develop in depth, supportive, and effective therapeutic relationship. He maintains a broad clinical practice with adults, adolescents, and children
Specific areas of assessment specialization include mild traumatic brain injury, postconcussive disorder, neurodevelopment, attention pathology, AD/HD, verbal and nonverbal learning disabilities, and Asperger's Syndrome. Dr. Evered's psychotherapy interests include individual development, life change/adjustment, trauma/PTSD, depression, affect dysregulation, and medical illness.
