Biography

Joni Y. Sasaki is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at York University in Toronto. He completed his PhD (2012)from University of California, Santa Barbara. His research interest deals with integrated biological and socio-cultural approach to conduct basic psychological research on multiple forms of diversity—including ethnic, religious, and biological diversity—in the areas of social cognition and social behavior. Ongoing lines of research include individual, situational, and cultural moderators of religion’s effects on social behavior; gene–environment interactions and social behavior; and culture and social cognition
