Biography

Research Intrest

Jaci’s research interests include: parental experiences of caring for a child with complex needs; mindfulness; and, first-hand accounts and other representations of long-term conditions or disability. Most of Jaci’s research involves the use of qualitative methods and methodologies (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), Discourse Analysis, Grounded Theory), and she is an IPA methodology (UK) Regional/International Contact. She is a member of the NHS/National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Data Monitoring and Ethics Committee (DMC), and is a peer-reviewer for numerous research journals.
