Gang Hu is an Associate Professor of Finance at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Dr. Hu specializes in the study of corporate finance, institutional investors, trading, and entrepreneurial finance & innovation. His research has been presented at such leading academic conferences as American Finance Association (AFA), Western Finance Association (WFA), National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and American Accounting Association (AAA) meetings. He has received research grants from Yale, INQUIRE, Morgan Stanley, and NYSE. He has won several research awards including the WFA NASDAQ Award, 1st Prize at the Chicago Quantitative Alliance academic competition, and a Best Paper Award from the Eastern Finance Association.
