Dr. Saha received his PhD in Microbiology (2004) from Bharathidasan University, India. He has obtained Botany (Hons) degree (1994) and MSc in Botany (1997) from Gauhati University, India. Dr. Saha has held a range of postdoctoral research positions in National Facility for Marine Cyanobacteria, India; Department of Biology, Texas A&M University and Division of Biological Sciences, University of California, San Diego, USA. Dr. Saha is currently working as Microalgal Biotechnologist and his research team are involved with molecular biotechnology of the Irish marine Cyanobacterial Biobank, which was recently established at Shannon ABC by his team.
