Biography

Dr. Daâd Saffarini is working as a Professor in the Department of Microbiology in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee. she has completed her Postdoctoral Fellow from Center for Great Lakes Studies,PhD and M.S from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and BS from University Jordan. she has honored with University of Wisconsin Graduate School Research Committee Award, Faculty Research Grant in the Univ. of Massachusetts and Scholarship by Ministry of Education.

Research Intrest

Dr. Daâd Saffarini focused upon mechanisms for aerobic and anaerobic respiration, Reduction of insoluble electron acceptors, metal reduction, mechanisms used by S. oneidensis to reduce soluble electron acceptors such as thiosulfate and sulfite and molecular and biochemical techniques
