Chihiro Yabe-Nishimura is Professor of Pharmacology at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine. Further to conducting research projects in the field of diabetes, since 2000, she has focused on the research field of the novel NOX family of NADPH oxidases. Professor Yabe-Nishimura is Councillor of the Japanese Pharmacological Society, the Japan Diabetes Society, and the Japanese Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
