He specializes in the issue of retroviruses (Maedi-Visna, Infectious anemia of horses), herpesviruses, circoviruses, recombinant technologies and molecular virology issues.Lectures and practical exercises in veterinary microbiology Lectures and practical exercises in molecular microbiology Lectures and practical exercises in clinical microbiology.currently working as professor in University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno.  

Research Intrest

Research activities are focused on retrovirals, herpesviruses and circoviruses. He is the solver or co-researcher of projects within the GAÄŒR, NAZVA, VZ MEŠMT and FRVŠ.
