Biography

Vassilis Bondozoglou graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1982), and then received the MS (1986) and Ph.D. (1988) in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. Heis the director of the Physical & Chemical Process Laboratory and a member of the EuroTherm Committee, the European Committee for the Promotion of Thermal Sciences.

Research Intrest

The research interests of Dr. Bondozoglou include the flow of free-surface and liquid / gas biphasic flows, the heat / mass transfer phenomena and the analysis and design of physical processor devices. It uses modern experimental techniques, in-house computational codes and theoretical analysis, and the results of the research are contained in (over 50) publications in international scientific journals.
