Angelo José Magro holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho State University (1999), a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from the Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho State University (2004) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Son. He has experience in the field of Biophysics, with emphasis in Molecular Biophysics, working mainly in the following subjects: structural molecular biology, protein crystallography, molecular modeling and dynamics, bioinformatics and toxinology. He was a scholar at the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (ENS-Cachan) - Université Paris-Saclay (France). He holds the position of Assistant Professor Doctor of the Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology course of the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences of UNESP / Botucatu Campus, where he is responsible for the disciplines of Biochemistry I, Biochemistry II and Enzymatic Engineering, as well as a researcher linked to the Biotechnology Institute (IBTEC) of UNESP, located in Botucatu / SP. He is currently a Young Researcher at FAPESP's Emerging Center and has as main research line the structural study of viral proteins, with emphasis on the capsid protein of the virus that causes swine circovirosis.
Biophysics, with emphasis in Molecular Biophysics, working mainly in the following subjects: structural molecular biology, protein crystallography, molecular modeling and dynamics, bioinformatics and toxinology.
