Alexandre Dal Pai holds a degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1998), a Master's degree in Agronomy (Energy in Agriculture) from the Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho State University (2001) and a PhD in Agronomy (Energy in Agriculture) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho 2005). He is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences at UNESP / Botucatu, where he teaches the undergraduate physics courses in Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology. He also teaches and directs in the postgraduate in Agronomy, in the programs Energy in Agriculture and Irrigation and Drainage. He has experience in the areas of renewable energies, processes of conversion of solar energy and biomass, models of estimation of solar radiation and photosynthetically active, besides studies on methods of measurement of diffuse solar radiation.
