Professor Dr Christof von Kalle chairs the board of directors at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg and is head of the Translational Oncology department at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). Christof von Kalle was trained in internal medicine, hematology/oncology and molecular biology. He has made significant contributions towards the development of innovative strategies for gene therapy for cancer and severe inherited diseases.
