Ms. Papadzanaki Maria is an ophthalmologist surgeon with specialization and long-lasting experience in Microsurgery of Cataract, in Refractive Surgery with Endoscopic and Laser, as well as in glaucoma procedures. Her biography includes a degree in Medicine at the University of Thessaloniki (1978), Title of Ophthalmologist Surgery Specialty (Athens State Ophthalmology Center, 1983), Doctoral thesis by the University of Crete (1993, Prof. I. Pallikaris) in the field of excimer laser for the correction of myopia , training abroad (Europe and America) on specialized techniques in cataract surgery, intraocular lenses and glaucoma. She has been the first AHC curator for the years 1986-1992. He has been a scientific associate of the ophthalmology department of the University of Crete since 1993.
