Biography

  Ph.D. of the University of Bristol, England Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd) in Ophthalmology Member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London ( MRCOphth) Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology, Paris (FEBO)   His academic career includes Lecturer positions at the University of Bristol, UK (1996-97), Lecturer (2000-02) and Assistant Professor. Professor of Ophthalmology (2003-07) at the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. It has rich writing in international literature with more than 400 scientific papers and has been included in "Europe 500, Leaders for the New Century". He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, elected member of the Board of the Greek College of Ophthalmology and Secretary General of the Hellenic Corneal Society.
