Ms. Katie Edwards is a Family Nurse Practitioner at La Casa Family Health Center’s ENMU based clinic. Originally from Nebraska, Ms. Edwards received her first Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science and Dietetics from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2009. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Edwards obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from Creighton University in 2011. After working as an intensive care (ICU) nurse in Nebraska and New Mexico for five years, she obtained her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) from Clarkson College in 2016. In her spare time, Ms. Edwards enjoys traveling throughout the United States and abroad, sampling local cuisines, and spending time with her husband and two goldendoodle puppies.
