I was born and grew up in Almyros Magnesia in 1956 and from my student years I was involved in medical science. Therefore, due to my love for man and my desire to offer I entered the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1975 from where I graduated in 1981. I served my military service as a doctor at the Military Hospital of Drama (KI.HN.E.) I specialize in ophthalmology at "Agios Dimitrios" Hospital of Thessaloniki from May 1986 to May 1990. I obtained the title of specialty the July 1990. After receiving specialized specialty:  · In Paidofthalmologia and Strabismus Section Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus University Indiana University in the US  · In the cataract surgery with phagocytosis at the Cincinnati Eye Institute in the USA  · Laser refractive surgery at the University of Crete . HIS scientific activity includes: Active participation in internal and external conferences with presentation of papers and papers as well as teaching in the form of tutorials to colleagues of ophthalmologists. he was  a member of the following Scientific Ophthalmological Societies:  1. American Academy of Ophthalmology  2. International Society of Refractive Surgery  3. European Strabismological Association  4. Hellenic Society of Endocrine Lenses and Refractive Surgery  5. Ophthalmological Society of Northern Greece  6. Hellenic Ophthalmological Society  Since 1990 he work as a private ophthalmologist based in Thessaloniki. Also since 1992 I work as an ophthalmologist at IKA Neapolis Thessaloniki where I founded the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus for Northern
