She has been a member of the Ophthalmological Community since 2002, when she was a partner of the Ophthalmos Ophthalmology Institute and the Health Center. Dr. Kontari Ioanna is a private associate of Laservision in Athena, where she carries out her clinical work. She has done an educational project at the School of Tourism Professions mainly on Hygiene issues, and she has also participated as a trainer in clinical tutorials and wetlab courses for modern cataract surgery and phagocytosis from a microscopic incision. He has also co-ordinated live phagocytosis surgery during ophthalmology sessions of the Hellenic Society of Intraflex and Refractive Surgery.
Her scientific work includes publications in ophthalmological conferences in Greece and abroad, on refractive surgery.
