Biography

 In February 1980 I received the title of Ophthalmology at the General State Hospital of Athens and I was appointed to the Athens University Ophthalmology Clinic. Since September 1980, for three years, I have worked in Paris, the Hôtel-Dieu Université Paris VI, the Broussais Hôtel-Dieu in Ophthalmology Clinic. Chercheur INSERM (National Institute of Santé and Recherche Medici) Groupe D 'Oftalmologie Unité 86. Chercheur CNRS (Center de la Recherche Scientifique) Unit 118. Maire de Conférences Agrégé des Universités et titre étranger. Professeur des Universités-Praticien Hospitalier and titre étranger. After my three-year stay in France for some time or time, I worked at the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston.  I returned from abroad in 1985 and I was appointed Editor-in-chief at the Athens Eye Clinic .  Since 1986 I worked at the University Hospital of Ioannina as an Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor until 1992.  In March 1987 I was elected Professeur des Universités-Praticien Hospitalier a titre étranger . I have written 3 dissertations in more than 50 foreign language papers and more than 150 Greek.

Research Intrest

 Most of them concern surgical and clinical issues as my surgical mainstream experience from the hospitals I worked for over 30 years is enormous. In the last decade I was Director of the Cyanide Cross Eye Clinic. Surgery at the special Ophthalmology Clinic of Jesus Christ in the center of Athens.
