The George Dranidis born in Thessaloniki in 1973. The school years lived in Katerini, from where he graduated from the Unified Polyvalent High School in 1990 with honors. He received his Bachelor's degree from the Medical Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1999. After completing his military duties, he began his specialization in Ophthalmology at the General Hospital of Kilkis in 2003. He continued his specialty at the 2nd Ophthalmology Clinic At the "Papageorgiou" Hospital in Thessaloniki and completed it in 2007 at the General Hospital of Elefsina "Thriasseo". He then trained in Queen Victoria Hospital's Corneal, Refractive Surgery and Ophthalmology Surgery and Eye Bank in East Grinstead, Great Britain.  . He continued his Postgraduate course by participating in the team of Professor I. Pallikaris and in particular at the Vardinoyannio Laboratory of Transplantation and Microsurgery of the Eye of the University of Crete (BEMM) in Heraklion, Crete. Professor I. Pallikaris is the initiator and inventor of the LASIK method, which is today the most widely used method for correcting refractive errors of the eye (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism). He is a Ph.D. of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a subject: "Comparison of the Lasik procedure with a femtosecond laser and the procedure with Lasik with a mechanical microkeratome". WRITTEN ACTIVITY: Writing many scientific papers and active participation in conferences and workshops in Greece and abroad. She maintains a medical clinic in Thessaloniki, 110, Markou Botsari Street, since February 2008.
