oe L. McLendon, MD has announced his retirement from Eye Physicians Professional Association of Macon, GA. effective on January 16th, 2015. Dr. McLendon is looking forward to spending time with his family, traveling to the beach, and pursuing other personal interests. Dr. McLendon began his practice with Eye Physicians Professional Association in 1969, where he treated patients until 1981, when he began a solo practice of ophthalmology in Macon. Dr. McLendon returned to the Eye Physicians Professional Association in 2000 and has continued to offer his patients the very best in ophthalmological care. Dr. McLendon is widely recognized as a leader in eye care in Middle Georgia. He is a member of the Bibb County Medical Society, Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, Medical Association of Georgia, and a lifetime member of the American Medical Association. The staff and patients at Eye Physicians Professional Association and First Look Opticians will miss Dr. McLendon, and wish him the very best in his future years in retirement.
