Thomas has studied at Ghent University. After completing the master's degree in pharmacy in 2009, he completed the 5-year specialization in the various fields of clinical biology in the laboratories of Ghent University, AZ Maria Middelares and AZ Delta Roeselare Menen.uring this period he has focused on hematology and clinical chemistry and has extensive knowledge of medical microbiology. In addition to specializing in clinical biology, he also completed a doctorate in medical science at the University of Ghent, with the subject of "biochemical markers for chronic alcohol use".Innovation and efficiency are two key words in his view on laboratory medicine and he tries to translate this again into Labo Maenhout's operations every day.
