Dr Rachel Kesse-Adu became a consultant haematologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 2012. She has specialist interest in haemoglobinopathies and general haematology. She runs specialist clinics in cardiorespiratoy and urological complications of sickle cell disease (SCD). Rachel is involved in research and is PI for a phase 2 trial looking at a new agent in SCD. She is educational supervisor and involved in teaching and training.
