Kirk Allen is the President of Ascension at Home and the Executive Vice President of Home Care Services. He is regarded as a leader in healthcare administration excelling at healthcare management, strategic planning, public speaking and program development. Allen’s effective strategic planning and corporate business development contributed to the growth and success of Ascension at Home. Prior to his appointment, Allen served as President and Chief Operation Officer of the Ambulatory Healthcare Network for St. Vincent’s Health System. During his tenure, Allen managed several business lines and developed corporate strategy. Allen also served as VP of Corporate Development for St. Vincent’s Health System before his promotion to President and COO of the Ambulatory Healthcare Network.  Allen has more than 19 years’ experience in healthcare. He began his career as a physical therapist before transitioning to healthcare operations management and home healthcare systems. His experience yields vast knowledge and a unique outlook on home healthcare management.  Allen earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Allen is an accomplished thought-leader in the home healthcare space.
