Joachim Hasenmaier is the Head of the Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Business Unit and a Member of the Boehringer Ingelheim Board of Managing Directors. With a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ludwig-Maximillian's University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Joachim has more than two decades of leadership experience in the animal health sector. A member of the Boehringer Ingelheim team since 2001, he served as divisional head for Animal Health for 10 years before taking over as human pharma regional business manager for Northern Europe, Canada and Australia in 2011. He was named to the Board of Managing Directors in 2012.
