Biography

Dr. Jeff E. Mandel is working as an Assistant Professor of Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care at The University of Pennsylvania Health System. He is also working as Attending Anesthesiologist, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He received his MD (Medicine) from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, 1980. His research interests include: anesthesia for otorhinolaryngologic procedures, particularly procedures of the trachea and larynx. He has special expertise in high frequency jet ventilation and total intravenous anesthesia. He has also been involved in developing new methods for sedation in GI endoscopy, interventional pulmonary procedures, and cardiac electrophysiology procedures.

Research Intrest
