Biography

Dr. Emily K.B. Gordon is working as Professor of Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care at The University of Pennsylvania Health System. She is also working as Attending Anesthesiologist, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Associate Program Director of the Anesthesiology and Critical Care Residency Program, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Intensive Care Unit, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She received his MD (Medicine) from Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover, New Hampshire, 1978. Her research interests include: ethical dilemmas at the end of life, outcomes from palliative care interventions, web-based learning, pain and palliative care, trauma anesthesia, anesthesia for airway procedures out of OR anesthesia
