Dr Ali Mohamed is a full time consultant physician in respiratory and general (internal) medicine working within Barts Health NHS Trust. He is the clinician for the lung cancer,pleural diseases, bronchoscopy and EBUS service at Whipps Cross University Hospital and runs the thoracic ultrasound guided pleural clinic service at Whipps Cross which is the first service of its type within Barts Health NHS Trust. He is the lead clinician of the clinical audits and guidelines development within the respiratory and acute medicine departments at Whipps Cross University Hospital. He have the expertise to manage acute and chronic lung conditions including lung cancer, asthma, smoking-associated disorders (such as COPD/emphysema), infections, sleep medicine, TB, pleural diseases, industrial and asbestos related lung diseases, Pulmonary embolism, sarcoidosis/ interstitial lung diseases and complex lung pathologies.
