Mr Mavrelos is a consultant in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Oxford and Guy's King's St Thomas' School of Medicine. He completed his subspecialist training in the reproductive medicine at UCLH. He currently leads the recurrent miscarriage clinic and is responsible for ultrasound scanning in the unit. He cares for women and couples who have difficulty concieving and offers the full spectrum of reproductive medicine, including general fertility clinic, IVF clinic and reproductive surgery. His research interest include: impact of gynaecological disorders such as endometriosis and adenomyosis on fertility, diagnosis of early pregnancy complications and optimisation of their treatment and the diagnosis and management of congenital uterine anomalies. He has published several scientific articles and book chapters on these subjects.
