Dr David Wrench became a consultant at our hospital in 2012. The focus of his work is to improve the treatment and outcome of lymphoma. David completed his PhD thesis on molecular aspects of the transformation of follicular lymphoma in 2011 at BCI, London. He has presented his research at international meetings. He actively recruits to national and international clinical trial studies and maintains a portfolio of studies across a wide range of lymphoma diagnoses in both new and relapse settings through our lymphoma unit. David has an interest in providing ambulatory chemotherapy and led the trust’s first pilot of this approach in intensive lymphoma treatment. He is also clinical audit lead for oncology and haematology.
