David Kennedy graduated as a veterinary surgeon from Glasgow in 1980. After 2 years in mixed veterinary practice, he spent 4 years in a mainly equine practice in Staffordshire. David then specialised in embryo transfer and became Veterinary Director of a cattle and sheep embryo transfer company, exporting disease free frozen embryos from the UK. David then moved to Kenya in 1990 to work with the International Livestock Research Institute to generate large full sibling families of cattle by embryo transfer, to assist in the search for markers for genes associated with genetic resistance to disease. In Kenya he managed a 30000 acre cattle and sheep ranch. David works for our Bioservices Division as Moredun's Named Veterinary Surgeon.
