Adm. Thomas B. Fargo (U.S. Navy, Ret.) is chairman of the Board of Directors of Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc., a position he has held since March 2011.Fargo graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1970 and served in the Navy for 35 years, including six tours in Washington, D.C., and five commands in the Pacific and Indian oceans and Middle East. In his last military assignment, he served as commander of U.S. Pacific Command, leading the largest unified command while directing the joint operations of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force from May 2002 until his retirement from the Navy in March 2005.
