For a long time, God has placed on my heart a passion for caring for, strengthening and sharing God’s love, grace and hope with young children living in poverty, in tough family circumstances or in social care. In June 2011, this passion became more focused towards the children of Romania when God led me to volunteer on a care project for a month in an orphanage and a nursery in Brasov before beginning university. After completing a degree in Childhood Studies, I began work as a Family Outreach Worker in England, but felt that call to Romania once again, this time to volunteer on Firm Foundations Romania’s Internship Programme, and in August 2015 moved to Brasov for the year.
