Biography

Richard Brudnick is Executive Vice President, Business Development & Alliance Management. Before joining Bioverativ, Richard served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Biogen, where he led numerous major transactions that proved important to Biogen’s progress and growth. Included among these are TECFIDERA®, SPINRAZA™, ZINBRYTA™ , BENEPALI®, FLIXABI®, the formation of Biogen’s biosimilar joint venture with Samsung, establishing Biogen’s Alzheimer’s alliance with Eisai, the acquisition of Convergence Pharmaceuticals, and restructuring Biogen’s agreement with Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (Sobi) enabling Biogen to lead the development of ELOCTATE® and ALPROLIX®.  Before joining Biogen in 2001, Richard was CEO of a regional pharmaceutical distribution business which he sold to a strategic buyer, co-founded two companies, and was a strategy consultant at Bain & Company. He earned his undergraduate in Management Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and his M.S. in management from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.  Richard Brudnick is Executive Vice President, Business Development & Alliance Management.
